My shoe of choice, the Saucony Progrid Guide 2, was just recently named “shoe of the year” by the Independent Running Retailers Association. Of course, that says more about how well it has sold than it does about the shoe itself, but it has served me extremely well. With all the pairs I’ve bought at my local independent running retailer, I probably helped make it “shoe of the year”.
