As of today I’m officially a Marathon Maniac. At the bronze level, for now. Sure, I run the distance all the time, but for good reason the Maniac’s only count “real” marathons, and those require a) time (for travel) and b) money (for travel and registration). Part of the reason I ran the marathon in Mason City last weekend was its proximity, which presented me with the perfect opportunity to run two marathons on consecutive weekends. Hopefully I’ll have the chance to move up a few levels later on. Of course, either way I’ll keep on running.
